Both kiddos have been down with cough and fever for the past few days. Managed to sneak in some fun between medications!

Its unbelievable how animated Keerthu gets at the sight of the winnie the pooh rider. Her hands and legs wont stop flapping till she is also made to sit on it. & of course her big sis proudly rides around with her.

Keerthu started the ride by holding the handle for her dear life and started having so much fun banging on all doors, tables and people that she was hands free and laughing out loud in no time :-)

Big sis holding her baby sis so that she does not fall. Paused and posed for camera for few seconds before resuming the ride again - Thank god for SLR camera!

For some reason Keerthu finds her big sis holding her nose pretty funny. She lets out this stomach gurgling laughter - and this encourages Kavya to keep doing it. This went on for almost 30ms..

Scoot Scoot

Do any of you do this cooting? I tell you its fast and people tend to pick you up earlier. Try this insted of crawling..

Walking .. well Almost!

I love to walk holding one hand..this is much better than trying to crawl isnt it?
9 months old

I completed 9m yesterday.. I can almost walk (gasp..) I can army crawl but prefer not to exert myself. I can scoot in a sitting position with my butt though.. have you ever seen anyone do that? I get my entertainment from watching my sis, singing to myself, climbing on my mom..My first word was 'abba..' (why does this make mommy mad?)

Costume Party

Guess who I am? I was asked to be a fruit or veggie. My mom remembered that the party was Monday - on Sun evening. So I became a GRAPE! It was fun being pinned with balloons though :-)

8 months today!

Baby Keerthu turns 8m old today! Its unbeleivable how she has transformed from a mellow baby to a fire cracker.. lets just say she has developed some serious "personality" :-)
It was high time for a photo shoot with Keerthu - since it was not happening at a professional studio we decided to have a mom-daughter session.

First vacation in India!

Its time for a fresh start to the blog and better yet with our first vacation in India. We took a small weekend break to Alibaug - a beach resort called Karpe Wadi. A very simple holiday cottage which has beach, clean air, home cooked food and relaxation on the menu. Kavya had loads of fun in the water and mud. We got our much needed hammock time and relaxed for a couple of days.
Karpe wadi is run by a retired army person who is a total nature lover. Its probably one of the very few places that has an Argo-tourism concept. We were warned not to stay up later than 11pm and keep the lights on as it may disturb the fire-flies!

Everyone relaxing on the hammock - starting with Keerthu
