Cosmic Cafe - A very unique and imaginative cafe in downtown Dallas. The theme is as the name suggests Indian cosmo. The decor was extremely detailed oriented. Gave me a very 'hare rama hare krishna' feel. But the good part was it was just not a wannabe vegetarian restaurant. The food was actually good! Very yummy soup and the samosas and curries were very good! kavya absolutely loved the elephants and cow sculptures.
Right after our shopping at the Central Market, Kavya hopped on top of all the fruit sculptures. She thought the apple was real and even wanted to take a bite out of it :-)
She IS petite.. just proved it by folding herself inside a rubber maid container :-) This was actually a repeat performance 'cos I didnt have my camera out the first time!
Got to love Krispy Kremes and their artery clogging glazed dough nuts!
My favorite pic..
With 'itti' (translated to aunt) A little trivia about Krispy Kreme - Collectively, Krispy Kreme's stores could make a doughnut stack as high as the Empire State Building (that's 1,454 feet or 443 meters) in only two minutes.
Kavya was in a great mood for the first pic and rapidly lost her patience after that. It did not help that the studio rep was too slow to catch Kavya's moods either. Got a couple of great pics though.
It was Kavya's first foray into the big pool. I had hunted for the perfect ladybug floatie and figured since she loves her bathtub so much she would love the big pool even more. Wrong! Either it was because she'd just woken up from her nap or because she saw her mom & grandad in strange 'costumes':-) she absolutely refused to even let her feet get. She posed for some cute pics before it though :-)
We took it very slowly the next day. First got her feet wet, then put her in the floatie and then we got in. She absolutely LOVED it and refused to get out. Since I didnt know how she would react to the water - I didnt have my camera!
