Murud - beach Resort Mini Vacation

It was great to get away for a day from the city and be together as a family. The kids had a blast. The relaxation even if it was brief was great! This was Keerthu's first swim and she was a champ! Kavya is a water baby..


We went to a village called Murudh which is roughly 130kms away from Navi Mumbai. It was a 4hr drive while going 'cos we misjudged the country roads. We had booked for a 1/2 day at the Golden Swan Country Club. An excellent resort with great service and fantastic ambience. The resort is right on the beach - so its essentially private. They have a play area for the kids with all the essentials. The best past is that the cell phones do not work. Even if it does it is very intermittent. Perfect for family time.

Bargain Hunt!

We went to the wholesale shops last weekend and got some summer dresses for K & K at dirt cheap prices. 15 rs a piece -> 30 cents. Not sure how long they will last but it looks grt for the price..

Visit to the mall

We went to the kid's play area in the mall last weekend and as usual they had a blast! Had to bribe them with cotton candy and what-not to drag them out.. Keerthu was thrilled to run around and went about chatting to strangers and charming them with her beautiful smile :-)

Graduation Day!

Kavya graduated from Nursery to Junior KG. yay!!! Feb 14th was her graduation day ceremony. Her graduation outfit was a princess dress with a head band and wand :-) Kartik could not make it so it just mama and Kavya!

All dressed up.. she wanted pearls to match the beads in her dress :-)
